ONLINE

The Jagiellonian University School of Polish Language and Culture offers individual Internet courses for students who are unable to attend traditional, classroom-based Polish language lessons. Although these courses can be taken by any student wishing to improve his/her general command of Polish, we think that the following types of students would benefit the most from enrolling in them:

  • Students who plan to come to Poland in order to study Polish, and wish to freshen up their language skills and remove obvious gaps before arrival, or those who have just left Poland and wish to continue improving their Polish.

  • Polish background students who have good or very good communicative skills, but need to develop their Polish writing and reading skills, as well as consolidate the structural correctness of their Polish.

  • Students who prepare to take a State Certificate Exam of Polish as a Foreign Language on the B1, B2 or C2 levels, and wish to work individually with an online teacher on their Polish writing and reading skills.

The Internet courses are conducted by experienced language teachers who negotiate with individual students the duration of each learning module, its objectives and intensity, and the modes of communication. The lessons are conducted by the university Moodle based platform, where students can find all the educational materials.
